Hi, I'm Ashelle (prounounced uh-shell), illustrator turned web developer. Like many people, I've dabbled a bit with coding when I was a teen. Tweaking HTML and CSS here and there on my Myspace layout and Tumblr blogs (remember those times?). For years, I worked as a digital artist, illustrating custom art for clients and sold my art at conventions. It really wasn't until early 2022 that I was inspired to get into web developement when I took coding workshops out of curiousity. These workshops seemed like the perfect opportunity to learn a few tech skills in a dip-your-toes manner. It's safe to say that I was hooked by the first few weeks of learning about HTML, CSS, Javascript, and APIs. Every day my excitement for tech grows.

As I've worked independently throughout my career, I've always aimed to do work with dogged determination and self-direction. That said, I also enjoy working with others whenever interesing group-oriented projects land my way. A team that places importance on diversity, curiosity, and friendly open communication is something I seek most in my professional life!
